Red cloth spine with black title, cream pictorial boards with picture of girl and lamb to front. 4 Colour plates by Anderson, b/w text illustrations throughout. Includes 2 stories by Brazil Mixed Pickles and The Refugees. Spine bumped, worn and faded. Bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. Covers slightly grubby, rear is worst. A couple of hinges cracked. Just an odd mark to contents. All plates present.

Bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Light scratch to front cover and a little rubbing. Rear cover is grubby and marked. Inscription dated 1915 to front pastedown. Two pictorial labels to verso of frontis. A few hinges cracked. Contents fingered. Odd margin tear. Heavy foxing to first and last pages with just a few fox spots to contents.

Colour and b/w illustrations. Spine bumped and faded. Cloth fraying at top and bottom, with a couple of small splits. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges scuffed. Rear board very grubby. Scratches to boards. One hinge broken - just holding by threads. Other hinges cracked. Top of prelims partially detached. Clear tape used on some hinges. Endpapers browned. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis. Some foxing and grubby marks.

Rear cover repaired at top margin. Small closed tear to rear cover which is grubby. Pages are browned with a little foxing and a few grubby marks.

A pop-up book with introduction by Weatherly. 5 pop-up scenes plus numerous b/w illustrations. Green cloth spine, pictorial front board shows children dancing around a Christmas tree. Decorative endpapers. Nister no. 853. Spine bumped and worn. Corners bumped and very worn. Board edges are scuffed. Boards are scratched and a bit grubby. Front joint cracked. Endpapers and page edges browned. Staples rusty. One page, which has ragged edges, is detached. 4" tear to last page of text plus other smaller tears to page edges and margins. Light colouring to several illustrations. Some fingering to contents. Horse's tail slightly creased in second pop-up, and couple of small patches of surface paper damage in deer pop-up. Other pop-ups nice and bright.
