Large format. Green cloth spine. Red covers with large picture to front cover. Full page colour illustrations and other small b/w illustrations throughout. Easy-to-read text. Chipping and splitting to top 1" of spine; wear to rest of spine. Wear also to cover edges and corners. A few scuff marks to covers. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Front joint is a little cracked. Some foxing and grubby marks to pages. Small b/w illustration to title page has been coloured in. Hinge between pages 24/25 is pulled, with stitching being seen at top. Colour illustrations are still nice and bright! Other light foxing and margin marks.
Front cover shows about twenty small characters including tin soldier and large yellow duck in blue bonnet. 8 gorgeous colour plates and numerous b/w drawings. Large format. Onlay to spine has chipping and a bit of loss in places. Onlay to front cover has scuffing and marks. Foxing and browning to various degrees throughout. 8 colour plates are all present.
Small format. Boards with pictorial onlay to front cover. 8 colour plates plus some b/w text illustrations. Spinea and corners bumped and worn. Browning and foxing to contents, ink stamp of printers to rear pastedown (Bradshaw Central Printing Works).

Large format. Cloth spine. Front cover shows a young woman driving with a dog in the passenger seat. First story is 'Great-Great-Grandmother's Christmas' by Moore. Colour plates and line drawings. Spine is faded, browned and has split to base; some chipping. Scuffing marks to covers. Bumping and wear to corners. Title page is MISSING! A few hinges are pulled. Browning to outer page edges and some page margins, which also have a few small tears. A reading copy.
Small format. Brown boards, red title to front. Colour pictorial onlay to front cover. Colour plates and b/w illustrations. Spine lightly rubbed. Gift inscription in ink to front pastedown. Contents browned but clean.

Adverts to rear board and endpapers. 12 colour plates, including colour frontis by Wain. Two tone and b/w illustrations. 8.75 x 7". Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers darkened in places. Writing worn on spine. Presentation plate to front endpaper and tiny bookseller's label to pastedown. Verso of frontis is slightly grubby. Rest of contents clean but browned.

Corners bumped and very worn. Board edges rubbed with bottom of rear board being worn with a couple of small areas of surface paper damage. A few scratches to rear cover. Joints cracked showing webbing beneath. Some hinges also cracked. Prize presentation plate to middle of front pastedown. Pages browned.

Colour plates, two-tone and b/w text illustrations. Spine bumped with a few small, light marks. Wear to corners and cover edges. Rear cover slightly grubby. Paper covering rear joint split for 1" at top and bottom. Nick to outside edge of front endpaper. Dated ink inscription to verso of frontis. A couple of hinges cracked. Brown mark, mostly to inner margins of two pages, one of which is a two-tone illustration page. A few fox spots and fingermarks but generally clean otherwise.
