Pictorial boards, blue cloth spine. Front board shows cat at a writing desk with 3 kittens behind. Colour mounted frontis plate, two dogs playing at the sea-side. B/w illustrations throughout, many of cats! 87 pages. 10 x 8". Spine has faded to brown, with some other marks; appears to have been repaired to top and tail at some point. Heavy scuffing and surface paper damage to covers. Corners are bumped and very worn. Joint/hinge between title page and frontis is cracked, showing stitching and webbing. Foxing and browning to pages throughout.
Brown pictorial cloth. 144 pages. Colour and b/w illustrations throughout. 2 full page colour illustrations by Louis Wain. Numerous illustrations by Cecil Aldin and others. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Grubby fingermarks to contents and endpapers lightly browned.
Cloth spine, pictiorial front board shows a boy and a girl ice-skating. Serial stories are: Little Oddity and King Penguin Land. Chromolithograph and tinted plates, b/w text illustrations. Covers are worn, grubby and foxed. Spine bumped. Front joint is partly broken. Rear joint cracked. Foxing to contents.
Red cloth boards with decorations to spine & front, pictorial onlay to front cover shows two children playing in a rock pool. Bevelled edges. Mounted colour plates plus full-page colour and b/w illustrations throughout. 336 pages plus four pages publisher adverts 'Autumn Announcements'. Boards rubbed and browned with some fraying to cloth. Front endpaper is missing. Contents have grubby finger marks mostly to margins.

Large format. Cloth spine. Front cover shows a young woman driving with a dog in the passenger seat. First story is 'Great-Great-Grandmother's Christmas' by Moore. Colour plates and line drawings. Spine is faded, browned and has split to base; some chipping. Scuffing marks to covers. Bumping and wear to corners. Title page is MISSING! A few hinges are pulled. Browning to outer page edges and some page margins, which also have a few small tears. A reading copy.
Larger format. Card wraps. Colour pictures to inside front and rear covers. Rest of illustrations are black an white. Easy-to-read text. A thin book - not too many pages long. Shows distinctive Wain cat depictions. Wear to spine. Creasing to cover corners. A few light foxspots. Name in ink to top of title page.

Large format. Cloth spine, pictorial boards show children drawing on blackboard. First story is "The Elf-Girl and the Prince". Pretty colour plates by Temple. B/w illustrations throughout including one small picture by Wain featuring 3 cats in the sea. Bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. Inscription in ink to belongs to page. Foxing to outer page edges and a few page margins. Wrapper is creased with a few large tears and chips; only a little loss to a couple of corners and top of spine.
Includes two stories "The Monkey That Would Not Kill" and "Gum". Blue cloth with gilt titles and vignette to front cover. 16 full-page b/w plates. 115 pages, all edges gilt. Bumping and wear to spine and corners; some browning and wear to spine. Uneven fade marks to edges of rear cover. Name to front endpaper. Foxing and browning to endpapers, outer page edges and a few page margins. A few grubby marks.
Munster Fairy Tales For Young And Old. 3 stories. Green cloth, gilt title and border. Attractive b/w plates, some cats but not in Wain's usual anthropomorphic style. xiii + 78 pages. What appears to be 'repairs' to top and tail of spine. A few small splits/nicks to spine, with a little fraying to cloth. Uneven fading to covers. Corners are bumped, with wear. A couple of score marks to rear cover. Margin tear to front endpaper, which also has a couple of partially erased children's names. Foxing. B/w illustration to page 54 has some colouring to it.
Card wraps. Circular pictorial onlay to front cover, showing a boy climbing over a stile. 4 colour plates. B/w illustrations. First story/rhyme is 'Compulsory Education'. Heavy creasing and foxing and wear to covers. Presentation plate is stuck to inside front cover. Grubby marks and foxing to pages.
