Being a true and veracious history of the eventful voyage of the S.S.Crocodile from Nowhere in particular to Anywhere in general. Large oblong format. Cloth spine, pictorial boards. Floral decorated endpapers. 12 colour plates and b/w illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and corners, some chipping. Scuff marks to covers. Front joint is a bit cracked. Page edge browning. Contents are still very good.
Pictorial boards, blue cloth spine. Front board shows cat at a writing desk with 3 kittens behind. Colour mounted frontis plate, two dogs playing at the sea-side. B/w illustrations throughout, many of cats! 87 pages. 10 x 8". Spine has faded to brown, with some other marks; appears to have been repaired to top and tail at some point. Heavy scuffing and surface paper damage to covers. Corners are bumped and very worn. Joint/hinge between title page and frontis is cracked, showing stitching and webbing. Foxing and browning to pages throughout.
Large format. Pictorial boards and spine showing children enjoying winter sports. Colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. First story is In Blackberry Time by F. Clifton Bingham. Board corners worn, Boards a little grubby. Belongs to box completed in pencil. Hinges pulled but binding tight. A few scattered foxspots. Some neat colouring e.g. b/w illustration opposite page 52.

Covers edge rubbed, rear cover lightly scratched. Inscription in ink to verso of front free-endpaper which is visible to front of endpaper. Light page browning and fingering. One of the b/w illustrations has been neatly coloured in.

Some hinges cracked. Top corner of frontis missing. Colouring to one b/w illustration. Some foxing. Grubby marks to most page margins. A few small margin tears.

A little wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Spine darkened. Rear cover slightly grubby. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Some surface paper damage to bottom of title page, looks to have been lightly stuck to blank page opposite. Contents very slightly pulled. Light browning to endpapers and contents otherwise clean.
Pictures and Stories for Little Folk. Red cloth spine, pictorial front cover shows horse and dog touching noses. 6 2-colour plates plus 3 double-page spreads by Aldin, 5 plates by Rackham and a small b/w vignette by Wain. Spine and corners a little grubby. Small bump to edge of front board. Rear board and edges of front board grubby. Light browning to endpapers and prelims. Some foxing mainly to page edges otherwise contents very good. Colour illustrations are bright.

Pretty pictorial front cover shows two girls by clock, brown cloth spine. 12 bBeautiful chromolithos of girls from different lands by Brundage plus other b/w illustrations. 10 x 7.5". 97 pages. Edited by Vredenburg. No. 1113. Spine bumped, stain near centre. Wear to corners and cover edges. Rear cover is slightly scuffed and has some rippling, some small scratches and marks to covers. Front joint starting to crack from bottom, a couple of hinges cracked. Large prize plate to front endpaper awarded for prize in Raphael Tuck and Sons Amateurs Literary and Painting Competition. Some browning to endpapers. Dark brown stain approx. 1.5 x 1" affects 6 pages at end of book, including one illustration. A few other marks to contents but generally they are clean. All plates present.
Stories and Pictures for Little Folk. Green cloth covers, pictorial front cover shows two children at a table reading. 8.5 x 6.25". Colour and b/w illustrations. All edges gilt. Unpaginated. Damp staining to outside edges of covers, more noticeable on back than front, endpapers not affected. Spine darkened with some bumping and wear. A couple of hinges cracked but binding still firm. Large presentation inscription in pen to verso of front endpaper. Foxing to page edges. An odd mark but most pages are clean.

Large format, 12.5 x 10". Pictorial light brown textured cloth shows white roses with green leaves. Gilt titles to spine and front. Brown and gold endpapers. Colour and b/w illustrations throughout. Spine bumped and worn with fraying and nicks to cloth at either end. Front edge of spine has been split for approx. 7" and repaired. Covers slightly grubby, a few tiny black spots to rear cover. Front joint just starting to crack, a few hinges cracked, title page ad first text page partially detached. Last illustration/text page has ragged edge. Some light browning and foxing to contents but generally clean otherwise. Colours still bright.

Corners bumped and very worn. Bump to top edge of rear board and to side edge of front board. Board edges are scuffed. Rear board browned. Small address label to top of front pastedown. Brown tape mark to top of front endpaper where a list had been stuck. Endpapers browned. One plate partially detached. Some foxing otherwise contents generally clean.
