Large format. Yellow cloth spine with black title. Pictorial front cover shows children in a cart with toys, being pulled along. 4 colour plates. First story is 'Looking for a Master' by Herbertson. B/w illustrations. Spine is grubby and worn. Indentation and scuff marks to rear cover; marks to covers. Prize plate to front endpaper. Page browning and foxing. Creasing to pages; some grubby margin marks to pages and plates pages.
The Story of a Little Man. Green cloth, gilt titles and vignettes. Four colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. 104 pages. Spine and corners bumped, covers slightly grubby. Gilt to spine and front has rubbed. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Endpapers lightly browned. Grubby fingermarks to some page margins and textblock. Heavy foxing to a few pages.

A True Story About Cats. Green cloth, navy titles. B/w illustrations. 194 pages. Spine slightly bumped and rubbed. Some slight browning and rubbing to cover edges. Contents lightly browned and a few brown spots to text block. Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with loss and grubby.
Green cloth spine, dark boards with pictorial onlay to front cover, green silhouettes and white title. Contains 5 stories: The Creepie-Man; The Wonderful Journey of Be-Wee The Gnome; How Be-Wee Built a House Under the Punker-Tree; The Creepie-Man's Poke-Sack; The Needle-Witch's Pepper Pot. 20 colour plates. B/w illustrations. Surface paper lifting/damage to top corner of front cover and lower half of rear cover. Some other scuffs and marks to covers; bumping to corners. Presentation plate to front pastedown, with name in ink. A few edge-chips to front endpaper, which is also browned. Some margin marks, browning and a little foxing. All plates present.

First story is A Surprise for the Piggledy Gnome. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Bump to front cover has bent board at top and damaged top and outside edge. Spine and front cover a bit grubby. A couple of hinges cracked but binding is firm. Contents generally clean. A little foxing. All plates present but two have darkened edges, one of these has ragged edges too.

Name in belongs to box. Front endpaper browned. A little foxing to page edges. Crosswords completed in pencil otherwise contents clean.
