Front cover shows girl in mop cap and pink/green gown with 2 boys in medieval clothes, one dressed as a jester. Red cloth spine with black titles. Pretty colour plates plus numerous b/w and two-tone illustrations. First story is "Rosalie, the Dark-Haired Princess". Spine bumped and a little faded with 29 written in blue biro. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Rear board a little creased. Covers grubby. Front joint starting to crack. Inscription in ink to front endpaper along with old tape mark. Name in belongs to box. Front endpaper browned. A little foxing to page edges. Crosswords completed in pencil otherwise contents clean.

A couple of small marks to covers. Some foxing to endpapers, contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and creased with a little loss at top and bottom of spine. Rear panel is very grubby, spine is darkened. Clear cover has been taped to inside of dustwrapper.
