Brown cloth with gilt decorated front cover and spine. Frontis and title page illsutrated by Kate Greenaway This contains Vol XII no 562 October 1890 to no. 610 September 1891 Covers worn and slightly grubby. Tear to top of spine has been professionally repaired. Endpapers replaced. Text relined.

Frontis is MISSING and has been replaced with the plate which was opposite page 1. 1 other plate MISSING (Our British Cavalry). Fold-out plate opposite page 289 is creased. Browning and fingering to contents.
