Green cloth, gilt title to spine. New Naturalist series no. 27. Spine slightly bumped. A couple of small indentations to cover edges and some slight fading to cover edges. Small booksellers sticker to front pastedown and name and date in ink to free-endpaper. A couple of small foxspots and a slight musty smell to contents. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn. This is a 1963 reprint or the second edition published in 1962.
