The most carefully packed book I have ever received, and I have received quite a few over the years. The book jacket has been carefully protected to keep it in good order, and a plastic bag as part of the packaging would doubtless protect it if left on the door step with rain following. I would love to visit Stella and Rose's bookshop - a treasure trove overseen by book lovers.

I buy a lot of secondhand books on eBay and the internet, but have dropped the practice of writing reviews. This purchase was exceptional. The item was in excellent condition, as described, it was despatched and delivered promptly and the packaging was outstanding. I’ve been dismayed many, many times by getting books wrapped in nothing but a thin plastic cover. Without exception the book inside will have bumps. Not so in this case.
