Cream pictorial cloth. The first book in the "Adventure" series. 326 pages. B/w illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and corners; small chips, with a little loss to top of spine. Browning to cover edges. Browning/marks to outer page edges. A few margin marks.
Orange cloth, black titles. B/w text illustrations. 184 pages. Spine and corners bumped. Some slight mottling to cloth. Some foxing to contents. Tiny booksellers sticker to rear pastedown. 2 of the b/w illustrations have been neatly coloured in. Worn and torn dustwrapper with some loss to spine and corners and larger piece of loss to lower corner of front panel. Old tape repairs have yellowed on front and verso. Large tear across spine and onto front panel. Rear panel and spine are slightly grubby. Still a nice copy of the first edition in very scarce original dustwrapper.

Red cloth spine. Pictorial front cover shows Santa hanging from a TV Aerial! First story "The strange happening at number 8" by Boyd. Includes "The Page That Blew Away" by Blyton. 5 colour plates plus b/w and two-tone illustrations. Spine bumped, corners worn. Removal of a plate to verso of front free-endpaper. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis. Remains of dustwrapper is tucked inside book.
Another exciting story in the 'Adventure' series. Cream pictorial cloth. B/w illustrations. 321 pages. 8 x 5". Spine bumped, grubby mark to top of spine. Name and address in pencil to front free-endpaper. Endpapers partly browned. Dustwrapper is lightly foxed (showing on verso), is edge worn with tears at corners and old tape repairs on verso, slight loss at corners and loss to top 1" of spine.
This most peculiar mystery was made up by four children to entertain Uncle Bob. Cream boards, red title to spine. B/w and two-tone illustrations. Bumping to covers and a couple of cover edges. Some marks to outer page edges. Wrapper is creased with edge-tears and chips; small amount of loss.
A Mary Mouse Strip Book. Small oblong format. Pictorial cardwraps with black cloth spine. 124 yellow and black illustrations. Plain rear cover. A bit of fraying with heavy fading to cloth spine. Foxing to rear cover, outer page edges and a few to pages internally.

Manilla paper/card covers in green/blue colour. Spine browned and some slight browning to cover edges. Some writing in ink to front free-endpaper. Endpapers browned.
