Spine slightly bumped. Contents clean although there is a slight musty smell to the pages. Dustwrapper is slightly edge rubbed with a couple of small edge tears.

Text block lightly browned with minor foxing present. Tape marks to endpapers. Some minor foxing to contents. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is lightly browned with minor foxing to flaps, spine has what looks like snail damage (a little surface paper loss) and is slightly chipped to top and tail.

Text block browned and stained. Address rubber stamped to top corner of free front endpaper. Marks and staining to margins of contetns.At least one b/w illustration has been coloured in e.g. page 83.Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn and chipped with slight loss, damp staining to verso. Musty odour present.
