Some light foxing to textblock. Price-cut wrapper is slightly edge rubbed and torn and slightly browned to spine. The verso is browned.

Price-cut wrapper is edge worn and slightly chipped, some tape repairs on verso.

Two text volumes boards are faded, stained and worn, library sticker to spine. Text block grubby, top edge of text block of all four volumes has library details written in ink. Library labels to endpapers. Some foxing mainly to text block. Front hinge pulled to volume I. Two map boxes are worn and stained (especially volume II) but all maps present and in very good condition (not torn). One or two instances of snail damage to margins. Sold with all faults. A good working set.

Boards a little grubby, rubbed at edges especially top & tail of spine. Text block browned. Grubby marks to contents. Hinges pulled but binding tight. Page 251/252 detached.
