Red cloth, black title to spine. B/w text illustrations. 219 pages. White and brown marks (possible small cup ring marks) to front cover. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Some wrinkling to tops of pages. Wrapper is torn and chipped, with a little loss; some browning to spine.
Green cloth, gilt titles on spine and front cover. This is the only full-length William book (the others being made up of short stories) and was based on Val Guest's screenplay for the 1947 film of the same name. 264 pages. Minimal rubbing to spine and corners. Tiny dent to top edge of rear cover. Endpapers and textblock are lightly foxed. Dustwrapper is complete, just a little edge rubbed and slightly grubby to rear panel. There is a small hole/tear to rear panel as well.

Yellow cloth, green titles and vignette. Blue and green pictorial endpapers. B/w illustrations. 153 pages. Light bumping and wear to spine and corners. Slight fade to very edge of a couple of edges. Some light knocks along cover edges. White mottling to pasetdowns at edges (from glue underneath). Foxing and some browning to outer page edges. Wrapper is creased with a faded spine; some edge-tears and chips; a few small areas of loss along edges. Wrapper has some tape repairs with magic tape to verso.
