Slight knock to spine, also to edge of rear cover. One joint is cracked, with creasing/sticking out of couple of page edges. Foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper has corner cut off from front flap; edge-creased with couple of tiny nicks.

Limited edition printed on English hand-made paper, limited to 500 copies for sale. 31 b/w illustrations. 162 pages. A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Covers slightly grubby with faint white spots to outside edges (damp?). Browning to page edges. A very odd margin mark otherwise contents clean.

Ink blot to lower edge of text block has seeped a little onto about 50 pages. Light foxing and an odd mark to contents.
Retold by Elizabeth and illustrated by Gerald. White pictorial boards. Colour illustrations throughout. Minimal rubbing to spine and corners. A couple of tiny holes to front joint (where stitches from binding process are below). White pictorial wrapper is just a little bit grubby.
