The First Version of Edward Fitzgerald. Small, slim format. Red cloth with gilt and silver floral decoration. Blue endpapers. Illustrated with colour miniatures from a manuscript dated 911ah. Front cover is very slightly warped. Light musty smell to contents. Contained in a gold card solander case with a red title-label on front which is slightly edge rubbed.
Limited edition of 1750 numbered copies. A new selection introduced by Jon Stallworthy. Blue cloth spine with gilt title, patterned paper boards. Colour lithographs and b/w footers. Includes commentary brochure. This is copy 55 of 1750. A fine copy contained in publisher's slipcase with light scuff marks. All contained in original publisher's shipping package.

Commentary volume is bound in blue cloth. Limited Edition of 1980. This is copy 317 of 1980. A beautiful set contained in the original cardboard packaging from Folio Society. One or two minor imperfections to the solander case.

This facsimile has been reproduced from the manuscript MS Harley 2278 in the British Library through digital photography by Laurence Pordes and has been printed by Cambridge University Press on Furioso paper from the Biberist mill in Switzerland supplied by John Purcell Paper.This edition of 1010 copies, of which 1000 are for sale, has been bound for members of The Folio Society by Smith Settle of Otley, Yorkshire, in full Nigerian goatskin with leather onlays over bevelled boards, blocked with a design by David Eccles, with handmade laid-paper endleaves from the Fabriano Mill, Italy. Contained in a green cloth box with red title block to spine. Also contained with this edition is 'A Commentary' - in green cloth, with gilt titles to spine. This is Copy No. 45. Contained in a near fine slip case - a few small knocks to a couple of edges. This copy would make a wonderful gift.
