Poems for Young Readers chosen and introduced by Rummer Godden. Grey boards with gilt titles to spine. Green endpapers. B/w illustrations. 70 pages. A little bumping to spine. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn. Light mark to bottom of spine/ rear panel. Laminate on spine beginning to crack. Spine is browned. Light foxing.

Green cloth, gilt titles and vignette to front cover. Introduction by Sidgwick. Top edge gilt, other edges are untrimmed. 10 colour plates. 178 pages. 9.5 x 6.75". Spine and corners bumped and worn with some fraying of cloth. Spine browned and gilt dulled. Couple of small indents on front cover. Covers unevenly faded and a little grubby. Some hinges are cracked. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Endpapers and page edges browned. Couple of creases to rear endpaper. A little foxing and fingering.

Attractive white cloth with silver and gold decorations and vignette. Pictorial endpapers. Eight pretty colour plates. Full-page b/w illustrations. A book of verse for children. Spine bumped. Browning to spine and some cover edges. Cloth at top edge of rear cover slightly rippled. Covers slightly grubby. Light crease to front endpaper. Foxing to contents otherwise clean. All plates present. Dustwrapper has some edge wear with a couple of small tears, chips and creases. Loss from base of spine disguised by photocopy underneath. Clear tape repairs to tears on verso. 5 written on front panel near fold. Corners cut from flaps.

Very good condition in a poor dustwrapper.
Brown cloth, dark brown titles. A selection of verses which have appeared in 'Punch', all of which are about dogs. Twelve colour plates plus frontis plus b/w illustrations. 47 pages. A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Some darkening to edges. Some light browning, foxing is mainly to prelims and page edges. Just an odd mark to contents. All plates present. Dustwrapper has one third of rear panel and half of rear flap missing, also loss from spine and bottom of front panel. Creasing and tears to edges, grubby some some darkening.

Space to write on both pages. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Covers slightly grubby/darkened. Front joint starting to crack next to half-title page. Browning, some foxing and an odd mark to contents but no writing.

Endpapers and some pages internally lightly browned. Small bookseller's label to front pastedown and initials in ink to rear pastedown. Some foxing and grubby marks. A few small tears to inner margins.

Spine and corners bumped. Uneven fading to spine and boards. Dated inscription in ink to front endpaper, the imprint of which can be seen on the half-title page. Some page browning and foxing with many pages being clean. Plates are in fine condition.
