Large format. Green pictorial cloth. 12 colour and b/w plates. Pictorial spine. Scuffing and bumping to covers; some marks. Small tear to cloth at top of front cover. All plates present. Fold-out page has some chipping, mis-fold and tear to fold.
Red cloth with circular pictorial onlay to front cover and oblong to spine. Titles in gilt to spine and front cover. 3 colour plates (including title-page). 316 pages. Onlay to spine has been pulled off - just a few chips of remains - cloth underneath has faded in colour. A few marks to covers; some spotting. Foxing and browning to outer page edges.
An account of the brave deeds and merry pranks of the famous outlaw. Green boards, black titles. 263 pages. 6 colour plates. Bumping and wear to spine and corners; couple of doodles (now faded) to covers. Appears that front endpaper is missing. Foxing. All plates present.
Rebound. Blue cloth with gilt title to spine.Colour frontis and title-page. B/w plates. 316 pages. Some wear to spine. Bookplate to front pastedown. Some margin marks.
Red cloth with pictorial onlays and titles in gilt to spine and front cover. 3 colour plates (including title-page), endpapers are illustrated by Dixon. 316 pages. All edges gilt. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Prize plate to front pastedown. Both joints are cracking (showing webbing). Heavy foxing but contents generally clean.
Purple suede soft covers. Colour illustrations. Covers are browned to edges and spine, with some spotting. Creasing also to suede cover edges. Front joint is cracked, with some of spine binding showing.
Comrade Library. Small format. Red embossed boards with black title to spine. Colour frontis. 316 pages plus 4 page publication list (Illustrated Pocket Classics) to rear. Spine and corners slightly bumped and worn. Front free-endpaper partly browned, rear free-endpaper has been removed with slight damage to the spine edges of the pastedown. Light page browning throughout. Dustwrapper is worn, torn and creased with some slight loss, there are two Oxenham titles listed on the rear panel which were published in 1907 and 1910 (hence the circa 1910 date we have attributed to this copy). Very scarce in dustwrapper.

Four volumes: Tales From the Arabian Nights; The Knights of the Round Table; Tales of Ancient Greece; Tales of Robin Hood. Each edited by Enid Blyton. Colour plates and b/w illustrations. Those in "Knights" illustrated by Robinson. Each volume has red covers with black titles. Slight bumping to spine and a little rubbing to cover edges. Colouring to the b/w illustrations. Dustwrappers are edge worn with slight loss to top and tail of spine of "Knights", tears to "Arabian Nights" but generally bright and clean. Contained in a slipcase (custom made?) which is slightly worn.

Contains brief biographies of the three brothers. Packed with colour and b/w photos and illustrations. 240 pages. ISBN: 187113630X. Contains a slip of paper stating this is copy no. 104, SIGNED by Beare. Spine of wrapper looks as though it is a little grubby but it is possible this it the way it is meant to look!? This copy would make a wonderful gift.

A thrilling historical romance. Red boards, black title to spine. 4 b/w illustrations. 278 pages. Spine bumped, a couple of tiny dents to cover edges. Name in ink to front endpaper. Light foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. White pictorial wrapper is edge worn and torn with slight loss at corners, grubby with damp spots (mainly to front panel).
