Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed, small stain to gilt title-block on spine. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Foxing to contents else clean.

Green cloth, red flowers and green leaves, circular pictorial onlay shows boy fishing, girl holding puppy. Red title to front cover, black title to spine. Colour illustrations mounted on brown card. B/w illustrations. 192 pages. First story: Stories of Robin Hood by Charles Herbert, features a few times in book. A couple of b/w illustrations by Wain. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Covers grubby with marks. Light scuffing to onlay. Joints cracked. Dated ink inscription to front endpaper (1928). Foxing and a few marks to contents. All plates present.
The Freeing of the Netherlands. Red pictorial cloth, gilt titles. 10 b/w plates and 4 maps. 384 pages + 32 page booklist. Spine bumped and faded. Cloth on spine is split at the top and worn at the bottom. Corners are bumped and rubbed. Couple of marks to covers. Ex libris name plate to front pastedown. Neat name in ink to top of front pastedown. Some foxing mainly to prelims and a few page edges otherwise contents generally clean.
Blue pictorial cloth, gilt titles. 12 b/w plates. 384 pages + 32 page booklist. A Tale Of The Western Plains. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Some rubbing to board edges. Spine darkened. Couple of marks to boards which are a little grubby. Name and date to verso of frontis. Some hinges pulled. A few light foxspots and some fingering to margins otherwise contents are generally clean.

Spine browned and frayed at top and bottom. Covers a little faded in places. Cloth on front edge of spine rubbed in places. Endpapers a little foxed. One plate is MISSING. Creasing to a couple of plates. One tissue guard is detached. Some browning to pages but contents generally clean.
