Large heavy format. Blue pictorial cloth. Colour and b/w plates. Numerous b/w illustrations. Fraying and chipping to cloth at cover and spine edges. Couple of splits to spine. Some marks to covers; scuffing. Joints are cracked; front joint is partially broken. Foxing and browning. Some page creasing. A reading copy.
Pictorial boards. 136 pages. 3 colour plates and 3 b/w plates. Covers are edge rubbed, 1" split to top of spine has been glue repaired. Prize inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Tobacco smell to contents.

B/w illustrations by various artists. 412 pages plus 24 page publisher advert to rear. All edges gilt. Bumping and wear to over edges. A few marks to covers and uneven fading to rear. Reward plate to front endpaper. Foxing to outer page edges. Some page browning.
Pale blue cloth, gilt titles; blue decoration to front cover. B/w illustrations. Gilt to spine is faded, spine is also browned; some chips to cloth at top and tail; a little fraying. Bumping and wear to corners. Browning to cover edges. Some foxing. A few pages have small chips/nicks to margins.

Beige cloth, brown titles and vignette to front within a yellow oval. 4 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 142 numbered pages. Spine and corners bumped. Covers ever so slightly grubby. Name and date in ink to front free-endpaper. Foxing and some fingering to contents.

Splits to spine edges, backstrip possibly glued into place, a little loss of cloth from top of spine. Cover a bit grubby, front cover scratched. Endpapers browned and foxed. Q1441 in pen to front endpaper and small smudge to top corner. Foxing, mainly to text block and prelims. A few marks to contents.
Blue cloth spine, pictorial front cover shows girl and horse's head. Title on front cover reads School Girl's Stories. Colour frontis plus b/w illustrations. 128 pages. Includes two articles and b/w illustrations by Louis Wain. Bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Covers a bit grubby, scuffed and rear cover is darkened. Front joint cracked between frontis and title page. A couple of hinges starting to crack. Endpapers browned, white marks to rear endpapers. Text pages very good.
Being the adventures of the Bastable children in search of a fortune. Blue/green cloth with gilt titles and vignettes. B/w frontis and 16 other plates. 296 pages and catalogue to rear. All edges gilt. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Small line indentation to top of front cover. Looks like an unsuccessful attempt has been made to clean the covers which are now part shiny/part matt and unevenly coloured and marked. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Joints are cracked. Frontis and one other plate MISSING, a few have small ink spots to them. Some grubby margin marks. A reading copy.
