Large format. Red holly decorated cloth with pictorial onlay to front of girls collecting holly. Orange titles to front cover, gilt to spine. Edited by Flora Klickman. Colour and b/w illustrations. Illustrated title page by Maude Angell. 704 pages. Spine bumped and faded with 2 inch split at rear edge and nicks at top and tail and front edge. Corners a little worn. Covers have some marks. Front joint weak but holding. Inscription in ink on verso of front endpaper. Contents very good.

Blue cloth spine, pictorial front cover shows girl and horse's head. Title on front cover reads School Girl's Stories. Colour frontis plus b/w illustrations. 128 pages. Includes two articles and b/w illustrations by Louis Wain. Bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Covers a bit grubby, scuffed and rear cover is darkened. Front joint cracked between frontis and title page. A couple of hinges starting to crack. Endpapers browned, white marks to rear endpapers. Text pages very good.

Spine has gilt titles with pale green border lines and gilt vignette. Illustrated endpapers with b/w pictures of ladies set into design. Colour plates and b/w illustrations. 768 pages. A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Small split to cloth at top of spine. Rear cover scuffed. A little wear to onlay. Both joints cracked, front between title page and frontis. One hinge cracked. Tissue guard to frontis browned. Contents very good.

Red cloth with orange and green holly decoration, large pictorial onlay shows two women, one holding up a doll. Gilt titles to spine. Colour frontis and title page. 703 pages. Spine bumped and faded with nicks to cloth at ends. A little bumping and wear to corners and cover edges, larger bump to top edge of front cover. Wear to onlay, covers a bit grubby with four small indentations to rear cover. Both joints cracked showing webbing beneath. Index page and rear endpaper detached. First gathering pulled. Just an odd mark to contents.

Dustwrapper is heavily dampstained to rear panel and grubby to front panel with some slight loss at edges.

Ink inscription to verso of frontis dated 1912. Bookseller's embossed stamp to front endpaper. Some foxing, mainly to prelims and text block. Contents otherwise very good.

Lines of residue to rear cover, possibly from label. A little foxing and an odd mark to contents but most pages are clean. Frontis tissue guard creased.
