Blue boards, dark blue titles. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. Spine bumped. Endpapers partly and very lightly browned else contents fine. Dustwrapper is slightly edge rubbed, slightly faded to spine.
Green boards, black titles. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. 214 pages. Slight bumping to spine and corners. Foxing to prelims, rear endpapers and textblock. Name and address in various formats (green biro, black biro and two ink stamps) to front free-endpaper ("no.7" also written below these). Dustwrapper is edge worn, faded to spine, grubby to rear panel and a bit foxed.

A collection of stories and illustrations which originally appeared in "Little Folks" between 1896 and 1902, during which period most of the numbers of the magazine contained some of Rackham's drawings. Large format. 36 tinted line-drawn plates and text illustrations. Brown cloth, gilt titles to spine; brick red titles and vignette to front cover. 144 pages. One of the more unusual Rackham items. Spine and corners are bumped and worn, splits in the cloth to the front edge of spine. Covers are rubbed. Name plate to front pastedown. Small ink blot to preliminary pages and some grubby fingermarks to page margins. Light page browning to free-endpapers.

A little fingering otherwise contents are generally very good. Dustwrapper is edge rubbed. Spine is faded and author's and publisher's names almost rubbed off. Rear panel is grubby.

Spine is faded and slightly rubbed. Some foxing to flaps. Rear panel is grubby.

Second Edition. Heavy wear to spine and corners. Splits to cloth at ends of spine. Covers grubby, spine browned. First gathering is detached, from front endpaper to page 16. Another gathering detached, pages 145 to 160. Joints cracked. Small bookseller's stamp to front endpaper, ink name to verso of frontis. Heavy foxing to tissue guard and title page. A few marks to contents but most pages are clean.

Both joints cracked showing webbing beneath. Some hinges also cracked. Browning to pages. Grubby marks to margins, including to some plates.
