Wrapper is edge-creased with tears and chips; browned to spine and edges; small white splash mark to bottom edge of front panel.

Stitching to a few gatherings is pulled, so that binding is a little weak in these places. Volume II - Some small marks to covers and a couple of small splits to top of spine. Light foxing to endpapers and some page margins. Volume III - A few small marks to covers; some light foxing to prelims. Contents clean and overall a very tidy set.
