Cloth spine, pictorial covers, front shows girl with goose on a ribbon. Illustrated endpapers. With 2 colour plates and 70 b/w illustrations. Spine bumped, corners bumped and worn. Front cover a little scuffed. inscription in ink to front endpaper and small closed tear to lower edge. Name in ink on verso of front endpaper. A few marks to contents but generally clean.

Containing the monthly parts for 1914. Blue cloth covers, black decoration, gilt titles to front cover and onlay featuring bears, black titles to spine. Adverts to rear board and endpapers. 12 colour plates, including colour frontis by Wain. Two tone and b/w illustrations. 8.75 x 7". Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers darkened in places. Writing worn on spine. Presentation plate to front endpaper and tiny bookseller's label to pastedown. Verso of frontis is slightly grubby. Rest of contents clean but browned.

Green cloth spine. Yellow pictorial front board. Colour plates and b/w text illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Spine browned. Covers a little grubby and scratched. Surface paper damage to rear cover. Rear joint and a few hinges cracked. Contents very good, just an odd mark.
Purple spine, pictorial front cover, white titles. 11 x 8.5". Illustrated endpapers. 6 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Edges of spine slightly discoloured. A few light scratches to front cover. Endpapers browned. A few light brown marks or fingermarks to contents but mostly they are clean. All plates present, colours bright.
A shaped book, Shakespeare Series No. 1912. 9.5 x 4.75". Card wraps, pictorial front cover shows toddler in orange baby wear. Red, black and white illustrations. Spine worn, staples rusty. Covers creased and grubby. Tear to front cover has been repaired on verso with tape. Contents have a little edge wear but are generally clean.

Wear to corners and top corners bumped. A couple of light scratches to covers. Endpapers browned, front endpaper is marked, name and address erased from pastedown. A few hinges cracked but binding firm. Odd fox spot otherwise contents clean. All plates present.

Large format 11 x 8". Pictorial covers show continuous snow scene, two children on front, one in green jumper, girl with sheep to rear. Colour plates plus b/w illustrations. First story is A Washing Day. A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Very light browning to spine and 1" split to front edge. To/From box completed in ink on front pastedown. One hinge starting to crack. A few fox spots to text block. Contents clean.
