Blue pictorial cloth with light titles. 4 b/w plates. Spine is browned and worn. Bumping to cover edges. A few other marks. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Browning and foxing to endpapers and outer page edges and to some page margins. All plates present. Corners to pages 353-362 are torn. Hinges next to pages 372/373 is split - can see stitching through. Is starting to make the binding a little weak.

Cloth spine with black title. Pictorial paper boards show young boy saluting behind a young girl waving a handkerchief. Colour plates & b/w illustrations. A book of stories by various authors and illustrated by various illustrators. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Some uneven fading to spine. Scuffing and marks to covers, with heavy wear and chipping to corners. Some foxing and finger marks.
Green cloth with decorations. 6 b/w plates. 376 pages. Spine & corners rubbed. Text block browned. Front endpapers have multiple inscriptions in ink and free endpapers are unevenly browned. A few grubby marks to margins and a few pulled hinges.

Large format, colour and b/w illustrations throughout. 16 colour plates. Spine and edges rubbed. Rear board browned. Front endpaper missing. All plates present. A few scattered foxspots.
Blue pictorial cloth covers. 6 b/w plates. 327 pages. 7.5 x 5.5". Spine and corners bumped. Spine browned and rubbed. Rear cover is grubby. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Endpapers browned and have some lighter marks on them. Foxing mostly to page edges and an occasional margin mark. Plates are all present.
Green pictorial cloth covers. 6 b/w plates. 327 pages. 7.5 x 5.5". Spine and corners bumped and worn. Nicks to cloth at ends of slightly browned spine. Rear cover is rippled and stained. A few small marks to front cover. There is evidence of glue along the front joint so there's possibly been a repair. One hinge cracked at top. Name and address in ink to dedication page. Endpapers browned, faint erased writing to pastedown. Browning, some foxing and a few marks to contents. All plates present.

First story Daisy, Tom and Bertram. Spine bumped, worn and browned. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges worn. Covers are grubby. Creasing to front cover. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis. Browning to page edges and a few light foxspots. Small tears to margins of some plates. 51st volume.

Large format. Red cloth spine with black titles and black vignette, pictorial front board shows small girl riding on shoulders of older girl. Advert to rear cover. Blue pictorial endpapers. Colour plates, two-tone and b/w text illustrations. Spine bumped with a few small, light marks. Wear to corners and cover edges. Rear cover slightly grubby. Paper covering rear joint split for 1" at top and bottom. Nick to outside edge of front endpaper. Dated ink inscription to verso of frontis. A couple of hinges cracked. Brown mark, mostly to inner margins of two pages, one of which is a two-tone illustration page. A few fox spots and fingermarks but generally clean otherwise.
