Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Blue covers, gilt title and stripes to spine. B/w frontis. 211 pages. Spine bumped and a little faded. Small bump to top of front board. Endpapers lightly browned. Light damp marks to rear endpaper. Foxing mainly to paged edges and margins otherwise contents are generally clean. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn with several tears which have been mended on verso with tape. Rear panel is grubby.

Red cloth spine. Pictorial front board showing three children, one on a scooter and two on roller skates with a cat and a dog. 6 colour plates. Two tone illustrations. 10" x 8". Spine bumped, rubbed and faded. Corners bumped and very worn. Boards are grubby. Inscription in ink in belongs to box some of which has transferred to opposite page. Paint marks to train on first page. Foxing to endpapers and page edges. Some light fingering. A few small margin tears.

Glue to spine dried out and thus covers are detached from contents. 1" split to front edge of top & tail of spine. Covers just slightly grubby gut generally nice and bright. Price-cut. Name in ink in belongs to box. A few grubby marks to contents but generally a very nice copy.

Green cloth, front shows onlay of young girl and boy listening intently to service man, white titles, black and white decoration. 9 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 415 pages. 4 serial stories, The Adventures of Madcap Guy, Bobbie and Betty Under the Sea, Gilbert the Outlaw and The Rabbits That Ran Away. A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Spine slightly darkened and gilt dulled. Covers slightly grubby with wear to onlay and title. Rear joint cracked. Tiny bookseller's sticker to front pastedown. Light browning to endpapers. Just an odd mark and fox spot to contents.

B/w illustrations. 20 Songs and music. Spine bumped and darkened. Bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. Covers a bit grubby with darkening to some cover edges, rear cover has a lot of surface wear. One hinge cracked. Contents generally clean but with light foxing throughout.

Some small patches of surface paper damage to rear cover. Front cover is grubby. Front joint and some hinges cracked. Name written on front endpaper. Browning to endpapers. Foxing to some pages plus brown marks to several pages where something has possibly been pressed into them.

Covers slightly grubby and marked with lots of light scratches to onlay. Joints have been strengthened with tape, neatly done. Endpapers a bit grubby and browned. Rusty marks to pages alongside spine from staples. A couple of numbers in child's writing to verso of half-title page. A few marks to contents, some creases and a few fox spots. All plates present, small mark to frontis and last plate.
