Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers slightly grubby. Small dent to top edge of rear cover. Vertical crease to rear cover. Endpapers browned. Heavy foxing to contents, mainly textblock and some other marks.

Large format. Cream cloth spine. Pictorial front board shwoing girl and boy running after a small dog with a doll in its mouth. 6 colour plates, b/w text illustrations. An anthology of stories and verse, first story is "Betty". Spine and corners bumped and worn. Cover edges worn with some small indentations. Damp stain to lower edge of rear cover and spine edge browned. Small brown stain to edge of front cover and "Miss Ruck" and "5" written in red biro to top of front cover. Name and address in ink to front pastedown, name and date in ink to free-endpaper. Endpapers browned. Some light foxing and grubby fingermarks to contents (including a few plate margins but pictures unaffected).
Tabiffa is a big black cat who belongs partly to Peter but mostly to Binkie and Dinkie the four-year old twins. Peach paperboards with large pictorial onlay to front. Cute colour and b/w illustrations. Chipping to base of spine; a little loss. Wear to cover edges. Some grubby marks to covers. Light damp stains to lower edges of covers, also affecting a few page margins inside. Foxing and a few margin marks.
Cloth spine with pictorial boards. Colour endpapers. Superb colour illus throughout. Also b/w illus surrounding text. Covers are edge worn with slight loss of paper covering to corners. Foxing and light browning to covers. Front cover has been used to lean on while writing. Foxing throughout and other light fingermarks to page margins. Some creases to inner page margins and some hinges pulled/cracked. Front joint is cracked. Pencil name to front free-endpaper has been erased.
Red cloth spine, with black titles. Front cover shows a girl offering her cheek to a boy for a kiss. Colour and b/w illustrations throughout. Spine is unevenly faded. Corners are bumped and worn, with a little chipping. Inscription in ink and ink stamp name to front endpaper. A few light margin marks. Contained in a LATER wrapper (3/6 net) which is torn and creased, with loss to top and tail of spine and a couple of edges; faded to spine.

reddish brown cloth spine with black title. Red pictorial boards. Colour illustrations throughout. Spine is unevenly faded. Wear to cover edges. Name in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper has bottom 3" of spine MISSING; smaller piece of loss to top of spine. Horizontal, repaired tear across full width of front panel; some other chips and tears with small bits of loss.
Small format. Blue boards with large pictorial onlay to front cover. Delightful colour illustrations. The first Ameliaranne book. Onlay to front cover is browned and creased, with corner of loss; some small tears. Splash stain to spine, spreading to rear cover. Fading/browning to covers, so that they don't look blue anymore. Foxing to endpapers. A few margin marks, else contents are very good and clean.
Brown boards with pictorial onlay to front cover. Pictorial endpapers and colour illustrations. 1" near top of spine has paper torn off, showing webbing beneath. Tiny patch of surface paper damage to letter on title on pictorial onlay. Browning to endpapers; a couple of foxspots. Contents are still very good.

Small bumps to bottom of rear board. Board edges rubbed. Some foxing to covers. Light foxing to endpapers and page margins. Dustwrapper is edge worn with several tears including to front fold. Creasing to top and bottom of panels. Loss to top and bottom of spine and bottom of front panel. Wrapper is foxed and grubby.

Light stain to bottom of front endpapers. Some margin tears. A few marks and fox spots to contents but many pages are clean.

Endpapers browned. Text block foxed. All plates present.
