Five little card wrap books contained in box shaped to look like a sweetshop with opening door at front. The books are generally very good with some foxing and light page browning. The front cover of book 1 has indentations to front cover (from heavy pencil marks?) and a small stain to top edge of rear cover. The box is worn, grubby and foxed on the inside with a tape reinforcement to the shop of the shaped section of the shop (on the verso).
Large format. Red cloth spine. Colour pictorial boards. Colour illustrations to each page. Corners bumped and worn. Slight rubbing to spine. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Dustwrapper is price-cut and edge torn with small tape repairs on verso.

Covers are grubby, edge worn and scuffed with surface paper loss (mainly to rear panel). Name in blue biro to front free-endpaper. Two names in ink in belongs to box. Contents are grubby.

A Tourtel story reprinted in colour. An advert for the next in the series on last page but no copy has been traced. 14 x 9.25". Couple of small closed tears to covers. Page corner creasing. Browning to covers. Staples have rusted. Some margin marks.

Blue decorated cloth. 4 pretty pastel colour plates. 358 pages. Spine and corners bumped with slight wear to spine. Spine slightly discoloured and covers slightly grubby. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Heavy foxing throughout and some page browning.
