Miss Emma was a maiden lady cat who had made a delightful home for herself in a dustbin. Pale blue boards, red titles. Colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 80 pages. Presentation plate, inscription in ink, tape marks and tear to front endpaper. Surface paper lifting to front pastedown, where it appears something has been removed. Tape and other marks to rear endpaper/pastedown. Some foxing. Wrapper is price-cut with tears and chips; some loss; foxed with grubby marks.
Oblong format. Pictorial boards. Beautiful colour and b/w illustrations. Includes a couple of Golly pics. Spine covering chipped away. Covers are worn and grubby. Inscription in ink and some other writing to front pastedown. Contents are very fingered and grubby. Child has written the page numbers to the top margins of each page (some pages have multiple numbers).
