No. 7 in the series. Cloth spine. Front cover shows Noddy driving a train. First story is Here Comes the Toyland Train! Very early reprint. Small fade/damp mark to base of spine. Crease to top corner of front cover. Name in ink to belongs to box. Inscription in ink to title page. Foxing and a few other marks to outer page edges. Painting page has been completed with paints; some bleeding of colour across to next page. Wrapper is price-cut with edge-creasing and chipping; a few small tears and nicks; grubby marks and some damp marks.

The very first Noddy book, in which Big-Ears discovers the little nodding man who has run away from Old Man Carver and takes him back to Toyland. Red pictorial covers with rounded spine. 61 pages. 7.5 x 5.5". Fade mark across very bottom of spine, which is bumped and a little chipped. Belongs to box is clean. Browning to outer page edges; contents are lovely and bright! Wrapper is faded to spine and edges, with edge-tears and chips; a little loss. 2nd ed. - has darker green 'by' to front cover of book and wrapper.

Noddy Book No. 2. Blue pictorial boards, rounded spine. Colour illustrations. 1-2" split to side of spine. Inscription in ink to belongs to box. A few grubby marks and some foxing to page margins and prelims internally. Wrapper is faded to spine with edge-creasing and chipping; minimal loss.
Noddy Book No. 3. Rounded spine. Yellow pictorial boards. Colour illustrations. Light bumping along a couple of cover edges and corners. Pale foxing/browning to outer page edges and to a few page margins. Wrapper is faded to spine, with some grubby marks; a few closed tears and nicks to edges; minimal loss.
Green cloth, gilt title to spine, gilt vignette to front cover and spine. B/w plates. 479 pages includes index. plus booklist to rear. All plates present. Spine bumped and lightly browned. A few faint marks to covers. A few white spots to front pastedown. Foxing to prelims, booklist and textblock edges. Contents clean.

Some page browning and a few small marks otherwise contents generally clean.The card case is edge worn and faded. A small tear to the top of the doors. Case is grubby.

A Tourtel story reprinted in colour. An advert for the next in the series on last page but no copy has been traced. 14 x 9.25". Staples rusty. Top of spine split and lower spine starting to split. Covers a little grubby. A few margin marks and a little bleeding from rusty staples. Generally contents are very nice.
Five little card wrap books contained in box shaped to look like a sweetshop with opening door at front. All 5 books are present but one is missing its covers and one is missing its rear cover. Three have tape repairs to covers. Tinny's hat has been coloured in every book ans there is some foxing but contents of books are generally good. Sweetshop box is battered and worn with loss from top edge, doors still present. A bit grubby and foxed. Sold W.A.F.
