Green cloth, gilt titles and embossed illustration to front. 6 beautiful colour plates of dragons. A few b/w text illustrations. A little browning to cover edges. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. There is also a stain to outer page edges, but it only seeps through to page margins on endpapers. Wrapper is edge-torn and chipped, with loss to top of spine; has damp marks to some edges; some foxing.

Large format. Pictorial boards, cloth spine. Front cover shows two children dancing in costume. First story 'Children of the Igloo'. Colour plates & b/w text illustrations. Spine bumped and worn with nicks to cloth at ends, also darkened. Wear to corners and cover edges. Some light scratches and foxing to covers. Both joints and a few hinges cracked. Ink inscription, dated 1938, to verso of frontis. Just an odd mark/fox spot to contents. One colour plate has been stuck into place with clear tape, now yellowed.
