Blue boards, black title to spine. SIGNED by the author to the title page. Spine bumped and a little faded. Front joint beginning to crack. Some foxing mostly to page edges. Contents, otherwise clean. Dustwrapper is clipped just below the price. Edgeworn with creasing to the top of the front panel. Small tears to top and bottom of spine are repaired with clear tape on veros. Spine is browned. Light foxing to panels.
The Captain Series. Pictorial boards and spine. B/w frontis. 94 pages. Spine and corners bumped. Spine browned. Foxing to boards. Couple of hinges cracked. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing throughout especially to prelims and edge of text block.
Large format, pictorial cardwraps. B/w illustrations to inside covers, colour illustrations throughout. 14 pages. Covers edge rubbed and very slightly grubby. There is a small crayon mark (old price?) to top of front cover. Contents clean.

Light brown cloth, gilt title to spine. A story about dancing, riding and people who were so different they thought they must detest each other... SIGNED by author 'Best Wishes' to title page. Spine is lightly bumped. Small splash mark to top of front cover. White name and address label of previous owner to front pastedown. Wrapper is price-cut with light edge-creasing. Nice copy of an early reprint with the added bonus of the authors signature!
Jane's mother kept a secondhand shop. Some of the form decided that this must not be held against Jane, but not everyone in the school agreed with them. Red boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 192 pages. Spine and board edges bumped, some darkening at edges. Endpapers browned. price-cut wrapper is edge chipped with areas of loss, especially to top of front panel and spine.
Large format. Cream cloth spine, pictorial front board shows boy in a toy car with girl sat on the bonnet waving to the reader. First story "The Rabbity Ruffikins Family". Colour plates plus b/w illustrations to text. 144 pages. Spine and corners bumped. A few light spots to covers and some light rubbing at edges. Old price (75p) in black biro to front pastedown. Some grubby fingermarks but contents generally clean.
The Nelson Theatre (under the management of Nora Ratcliff, M.A.), Show Plays No. 11, Section III. Yellow and red decorated cardwraps. 15 pages. Very slight rubbing at corners. Contents clean. A nice copy of this scarce little booklet.
Pictorial boards. Colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. An anthology of mainly verse, one short story. 15 pages. Paper covering of backstrip is mostly chipped off. Small patch of surface paper damage and a small crayon mark to front cover. Prize plate and name in ink to top margin inside front cover (which is a colour plate). Some yellow crayon to one illustration. Small biro mark to first text page. Surface paper torn from top corner of inside rear cover (also a colour plate).
The Nursery Zoo series, The Second Cage. Cream boards with large pictorial onlay to front cover. Colour and b/w illustrations to each page. 15 pages. Spine is bumped and rubbed with small splits. Corners are bumped and rubbed. Rear board is unevenly browned. Front board is a little grubby. A few light foxspots and grubby marks but contents are generally clean. Undated reprint.

A couple of small marks to top edge of rear cover. Front free-endpaper has been removed. There is a tiny booksellers sticker to rear pastedown. First few and last few pages are browned/foxed else the contents are clean.
A story for children. Brown cloth spine, pictorial front board shows Podgy Puppy with a chewed slipper! B/w text illustrations and colour plates. Printed on one side of the page only - one page of text facing one colour plate. Free endpapers lightly browned.
