Jane wants to be a dancer but her parents want her to be a veterinary surgeon, whilst her cousin Mariella would rather be with animals than train to be a dancer like her mother. The two girsl decide that Jane should masquerade as Mariells at a forth coming audition for the Sadlers Wells company. Blue cloth, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 190 pages. Spine and corners bumped, some foxing and fading to covers. Inscription in ink and some other ink writing to verso of front free-endpaper. Endpapers are partly browned. Foxing and browning to textblock. Rear joint is cracked. Dustwrapper is price-cut, browned and edge chipped with some loss to top and bottom of spine. Foxed on verso of wrapper.
Red cloth, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Fading to cover edges and small stain to base of spine. Endpapers browned. Foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is edge chipped, foxed and browned with 1" loss to base of spine and 0.5" loss at top, front flap is almost detached.

Colour and b/w illustrations by Beatrix Potter and pictures from the film. ISBN: 0723214212. Couple of small knocks to cover edges. Name in ink to front endpaper. Page edge browning. 3" closed tear to rear panel of wrapper; a few chips and nicks at corners.
Pale yellow boards with black title to spine. B/w illustrations. Bumping along cover edges. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is faded to spine with some scuffing; a few edge-tears and chips; some repaired to verso; a few small nicks/chips of loss.
A broken ankle gives Annette Dancy an unexpected holiday at home in the lovely old peel tower where he family lives. Green cloth, gilt title to spine. Colour frontis and a couple of colour and b/w plates. Spine very slightly bumped. Light brown stain to lower corners of pages else a near fine copy. Wrapper, price-cut by publisher, has light brown stain at front corners, a closed tear repaired on verso and is rubbed at edges.
