Light brown cloth, gilt title to spine. A story about dancing, riding and people who were so different they thought they must detest each other... SIGNED by the author to title-page (by means of inscription dedicated to Heather). Large but neat inscription in ink to verso of front free-endpaper. Spine bumped. Light foxing to text block.Dustwrapper is foxed and slightly worn at spine and corners.
Pale yellow boards with black title to spine. B/w illustrations. Bumping along cover edges. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is faded to spine with some scuffing; a few edge-tears and chips; some repaired to verso; a few small nicks/chips of loss.
A broken ankle gives Annette Dancy an unexpected holiday at home in the lovely old peel tower where he family lives. Green cloth, gilt title to spine. Colour frontis and a couple of colour and b/w plates. Spine very slightly bumped. Light brown stain to lower corners of pages else a near fine copy. Wrapper, price-cut by publisher, has light brown stain at front corners, a closed tear repaired on verso and is rubbed at edges.
Blue boards, black title to spine. SIGNED by the author to the title page. Spine bumped and a little faded. Front joint beginning to crack. Some foxing mostly to page edges. Contents, otherwise clean. Dustwrapper is clipped just below the price. Edgeworn with creasing to the top of the front panel. Small tears to top and bottom of spine are repaired with clear tape on veros. Spine is browned. Light foxing to panels.

Brought up in an orphanage where she is given dancing lessons to strengthen her body she finds she has an aptitude for ballet but doesn't think she will ever be strong enough to make a career as a dancer. ISBN: 0856861154. Spine and corners a little bumped. A few foxspots mainly to page edges otherwise contents are clean. Dustwrapper is slightly edgeworn. Spine is faded.
