Three town cousins come to live with three farm cousins. Blue cloth, gilt titles. B/w drawings. 224 pages. Bumping and foxing to spine. Old name scribbled out in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is creased with tears and chips - but only minimal loss.
Manilla paper/card covers, light blue colour with b/w illustration of squirrels to front. Original address of 'Old Thatch' to the letter to boys and girls at front. B/w photos and illustrations. Spine browned. Writing to front free-endpaper in both blue crayon and pencil. Endpapers browned.
