Large format. Red cloth, gilt titles. Colour plates. B/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Fading to lower corner of front cover. Inscription in ink to half-title page. Dustwrapper is worn and creased with slight loss at corners and tape repairs/reinforcements to edges on verso. There is a damp stain to lower corner of front panel of wrapper which is not very visible on front side.
Red boards, gilt lettering. Endpapers are board games. Full of short stories and puzzles. Numerous illustrations. First story is "Adventure on the Way Home" - A Tale of the Secret Seven. Spine and corners bumped. Crossword done in pencil and one puzzle partly completed in pencil. Light browning to endpapers. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn.
