An excellent school story, in which boxing plays a prominent part. Blue cloth, dark blue titles and borders. 253 pages. Colour frontis, some b/w chapter headers. Spine and corners bumped. Prize plate to front endpaper (with name blacked out). Heavy foxing at page edges. Price-cut wrapper is slightly edge worn and is grubby to rear panel.
Green cloth, gilt title to spine, vignette to front cover. Colour frontis + b/w illustrations. A few marks/light scuffing to covers. Couple of corners are bumped. Grubby marks to endpapers and outer page edges.
Blue pictorial cloth, black titles. 4 b/w plates. Foxing to spine; other spotting to covers. Corners are bumped, with wear. Prize plate to front pastedown. Foxing to outer page edges. A few grubby margin marks.

First story is 'The Little Old Woman and the Queen That Came To Tea' by Chaundler. Stories and rhymes. Pinnacle Series. Foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is a little chipped and nicked to corners; minimal loss; some edge-creasing.
Green covers with gilt title to spine. Endpapers are maps. Colour frontis and b/w illustrations. 214 pages. Spine bumped and worn. Top corners worn, lower corners worn and frayed. A little foxing.
