Dustwrapper is just slightly edge worn with a couple of small tears at top edge.

Front joint slightly pulled (minor). Small fingermark to half-title page and light browning. Else contents clean. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is creased, edge-rubbed with a few small closed tears, repaired to verso with clear tape.

Once as a gift dedication to free front endpaper and once with no dedication to the top of the title page. Top of spine is bumped which means the contents are also creassed to top gutter edge throughout. Tape stuck to front pastedown and a small patch of surface paper loss where some tape has been removed. Contents are clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is faded to spine, rubbed at corners, lightly creased and a little grubby to rear panel.

Substantial loss to front panel (top half of front panel mostly missing).
