Spine bumped and worn, wear to edges of onlay. Bumping to corners, wear to corners and cover edges. Covers rubbed with a few light scratches. Front joint cracked next to contents page. ink inscription to front endpaper. Title page is partially detached. Small bookseller's label to front pastedown. A few fox spots and marks to contents. All plates present.

Spine and corners bumped with wear. Nasty dent to lower edge of front cover and some nicks along top edge. Rear cover slightly grubby, a couple of light scratches to front cover. Text block is grubby with some foxing. Contents very good. All plates present.

Spine and covers slightly grubby with small patch surface paper damage in title. Presentation inscription and small bookseller's stamp to front pastedown. Browning to endpapers. Text pages clean.

Bumping and wear to spine and corners; some grubby marks to spine. Marks to rear cover. Bookplate to front endpaper. Grubby marks to outer page edges and some page margins.
Cloth spine, pictorial covers, front shows baby with toy monkey. 12 full page colour illustrations with title below. Spine worn with 3.5" split to rear edge which has been glued into place, small split with some fraying to top. Wear to corners and cover edges. Covers grubby and marked. Split to tape at bottom of most hinges. 3.5" split to top of one hinge. Crack to one board alongside spine. Small margins to margins, illustrations still bright.

Top corner on rear cover has surface paper damage, lower corner has wrinkling. Wear to other corners and cover edges, covers a bit grubby. Some marks to margins, illustrations still bright.

Printed on one side of the page only - one page of text facing one colour plate. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Small bumps to top and bottom of board edges. A little chipping to onlay on front cover. Front endpaper is missing. Endpapers are browned. A few light margin marks otherwise contents are clean.
