First story: The Magic Matchbox. Spine rubbed and bumped, illustration on spine faded. Edges rubbed and corners worn. Prize-plate to front endpaper. Occasional faint fingering and foxing to contents.

Heavy wear to cover edges with loss of surface. Corners bumped and worn. Covers a bit grubby. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Joints cracked, showing webbing, a few hinges starting to crack. 3" tear to top of front endpaper alongside spine. Vertical creases to title page. A few fingermarks to contents. All plates present.

Light browning to about 6 pages, possibly something has been pressed between them, contents generally clean otherwise.
