Red cloth spine. Pictorial front board shows children playing each with a month on them. First story is 'The Girl Who Liked Fairy Tales. Pretty colour plates and two-tone text illustrations. 163 pages. Base of spine bumped. Minimal wear to spine and corners. A couple of hinges starting to crack. Just a odd fox spot otherwise contents clean. Dustwrapper is badly torn around bottom half of spine and along rear fold and into rear panel, with creasing but very little loss. Small tears and creasing to top of spine. A few other chips and tears to edges.

Wear to corners and cover edges. A few marks and scratches to covers. Pencil writing about contents to front endpaper. Some browning to endpapers, prelims and last couple of pages. Evidence of something having been stuck to rear endpaper. Contents very good.

Illustrations are still lovely and bright.

Browning to spine and unevenly to rear panel. Browning and pink stains to verso corresponding with faint stains on covers.
