Large format. Cloth spine with black title and vignette. Colour front board showing 2 children with their teddies and pixies. 8 colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Covers edge worn. Rear cover is slightly grubby. Inscription in ink to centre of title-page. Foxing to contents. Small repair with white tape to rear joint.

Large format. Cloth spine, pictorial boards show children drawing on blackboard. First story is "The Elf-Girl and the Prince". Pretty colour plates by Temple. B/w illustrations throughout including one small picture by Wain featuring 3 cats in the sea. Bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. Inscription in ink to belongs to page. Foxing to outer page edges and a few page margins. Wrapper is creased with a few large tears and chips; only a little loss to a couple of corners and top of spine.
Cloth spine, pictorial front cover shows three children sailing a toy boat, yellow titles. 10 x 7.5". Colour plates and b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers grubby, mainly edges. Prize plate to front pastedown. One hinge cracked. Contents clean but with foxing and some browning.

Twenty-second year of issue. Red cloth spine. Pictorial front board shows child with a plate of fruit. 12 colour plates plus two-tone and b/w illustrations to text throughout. Pictorial endpapers by Alan Wright. First story is The Magic Knocker by Christine Chaundler. 264 pages. 10" x 7.25". Spine bumped and worn with splits to top and bottom. 5.5" split in cloth at front edge. Corners bumped and very worn. Board edges rubbed and scuffed. Scuffing and some marks to boards. Front joint cracked at top. Endpapers browned. Name and address in ink to verso of front endpaper. Ink tracing of picture beneath on tissue guard for frontis. 3 plates are MISSING. Foxing and some grubby margin marks.

Red cloth spine with black title & decoration. Front cover shows children in night clothes gathering around town crier holding lamp. First story is Ronnie and the Beehive. Edges rubbed, corners worn. Base of cloth spine starting to fray. A few marks to rear board. Possible that colour plates may have been removed. Foxing present.
