Brown cloth, blue title to spine. B/w illustrations. 128 pages. Spine and corners bumped. Foxing to endpapers and textblock. Dustwrapper is worn with some loss, slightly grubby to rear panel.

Colour plates and b/w text illustrations. 217 pages. Spine and cover edges are faded. Spine is also foxed. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is torn and chipped with some loss to top and tail of spine; rear panel is almost detached from spine; fading and browning; marks.

Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Some colouring to b/w frontis. Pictorial dustwrapper is heavily repaired with tape to verso which has aged and is now showing through to the front. Some surface paper loss to rear panel of dustwrapper and some loss to spine.

Pretty colour plates and two-tone text illustrations. 163 pages. Base of spine bumped. Minimal wear to spine and corners. A couple of hinges starting to crack. Just a odd fox spot otherwise contents clean. Dustwrapper is badly torn around bottom half of spine and along rear fold and into rear panel, with creasing but very little loss. Small tears and creasing to top of spine. A few other chips and tears to edges.

Contents a bit fingered with a few margin marks and an odd margin tear. Light foxing, mainly to endpapers.
