Detailed coverage of the development and use of the colourful headgear of a military era noted for its elegance and ornateness. Matt boards. B/w illustrations and photos. Boards a little browned and grubby. Annotation in ink to front endpaper. Endpapers and text block very grubby. A few instances of biro annotation. Page 97-100 loose from binding. A few fingermarks to contents. Matching dustwrapper is browned and grubby, edge-worn with some loss, 2" closed tear to rear panel.
Black cloth boards, white title to spine. B/w photos. Text in German. ISBN: 3790902144. Top corners lightly bumped. Text block lightly browned. A few fingering marks to prelims. Dustwrapper is lightly scuffed and has a small closed tear across the spine (no loss). Musty odour present.
