Contemporary inscription in ink to verso of frontis. Top corner creases to contents and a few grubby marks.
Combined single volume. Book One: From 18 Brumaire to Tilsit 1799-1807; Book Two: From Tilsit to Waterloo 1807-1815. Red cloth with a blocked gilt design, green title block with gilt title to spine. Colour plates. Heavy bumps to lower corners of slipcase affecting book slightly. A couple of other tiny knocks at edges of slipcase.
