B/w illustrations throughout. Spine and corners bumped and worn, covers scratched and edge worn. Page browning throughout. A couple of hinges cracked. Light fingermarks to page margins.

Some childish colouring to the b/w illustrations. Page browning, mainly to publication list. Grubby marks to front endpaper and small embossed booksellers stamp to top corner of front free-endpaper. Some pulling to the hinges.

White cloth beautifully decorated in pale green and gilt to front cover. Pale green endpapers. 10 tipped-in paper-guarded richly coloured plates. A tale from The Arabian Nights retold by Housman. Spine browned, bumped and worn with small nicks to cloth at either end. Corners worn. Covers grubby and marked. Small bookseller's label to front pastedown. A couple of hinges cracked but binding still firm. A little foxing and browning. Fingering to contents but generally clean. All plates present and in very good condition.

One hinge cracked. Erased writing and slightly sticky residue possibly from removal of label to front endpaper which is a little grubby. Some foxing and fingering to contents.
