Introduced by Blake. Spine faded which a few small spots at centre. Contents fine. Slipcase is faded at opening edges, black mark to base of slipcase.
Red boards, gilt and black decorations. Introduced by Quentin Blake. Illustrations by the author, for this edition are Hand coloured by Richard Beards. Still in original shrinkwrap which is slightly grubby.

The four children take with them a small cat to steer the boat, an elderly Quangle-Wangle to cook the dinner and a large kettle! Delightful nonsense. Glazed pictorial boards, bright colour illustrations. 11.25 x 7.75". Originally published in a limited edition by the Old Stile Press 1989. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Spine faded. Odd light scratch to covers. Front endpaper slightly grubby. Title underlined with black pen on title page and with pink pen on first text page.
Small format 4.5 x 3.5". Pictorial boards show birds flying to a tree, cloth spine. B/w illustrations. A little wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Covers slightly grubby. Endpapers browned, and odd fox spot otherwise contents clean.
