Beautiful colour and b/w pictures. Large format. White boards with grey titles and illustration to front cover. This edition has the Angel & Child plate facing page 19. This was Dorothy Lathrop's copy with inscribed card from W. DLM laid in. Spine and corners bumped, cover edges slightly worn. Some foxing and slight page browning else contents clean. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn with just a tiny piece of loss to top front edge, slightly foxed and rubbed to front edge.

Heavy foxing to contents and some grubby fingermarks to page margins. A couple of small closed margin tears. A very decent copy of a scarce book.
