Red leather binding with gilt titles and vignette. Small format. Yellow endpapers. All edges gilt. Delightful full-page colour pictures plus b/w decorations to every page. Front cover is part-detached. Leather binding is rubbed/worn at spine and edges. Front joint cracked/almost broken. Front fly-leaf has been removed. A few neat entries in pencil and pen.
Brown cloth with gilt titles and black decorations. Upwards of 200 illustrations engraved by Dalziel Brothers. Bumping and wear to spine and corners; a few marks. Joints are a little cracked. Some margin marks internally.

A picture book with minimal text. Oblong format. Bevelled edge boards. Green cloth spine, pictorial boards. Green, floral endpapers. 47 pages. Edges rubbed, corners worn, boards a little browned and scuffed. Joints repaired. Diagonal corner crease to lower corner of free front endpaper is fragile and liable to tear. Vertical crease to half-title page. Light browning to contents with minor grubby marks in places.
Brown cloth spine, brown pictorial boards. Black endpapers. Colour illustrations and text decorations printed by Edmund Evans. Board edges rubbed, corners worn. Free front endpaper starting to detach from bottom. Inscription in ink to half-title page. Rear hinge split but binding hanging on. Page 49/50 and 55/56 is detached but present. Other hinges pulled. Contents therefore fragile in binding. A few grubby marks to contents.

Corners worn, boards a little browned. Cloth spine is fraying and has a couple of small pinholes to lower rear edge. Front joint split but binding thread holding. Contemporary gift inscription in ink to half-title page. Hinges pulled. A few margin marks.

Large corner missing from rear endpaper, approx. 2 x 5". Contents generally clean.
