This is a facsimile of the 1923 edition published by Hodder & Stoughton. Brown boards covers, gilt decoration. 16 colour plates plus numerous b/w illustrations, many full-page. Pictorial title-page. A very handsome book, faithfully reproduced. ISBN: 0340258071. Spine bumped.

A few light scratches to rear cover. Joints just starting to crack. Foxing to endpapers and text block, last text page is browned. Just an odd fingermark to contents and looks like small staple(?) indentations to margins of first pages.
