Wear to corners; a few small nicks at cloth. Bookplates to front pastedown and front endpaper. Browning to prelim and outer page edges; some foxing.
The Deluxe India Paper Edition. Black cloth with gilt titles spine and decoration to front cover. All 3 books in one volume. Paper is wafer thin. ISBN: 004823091X. Covers have a few light marks. Fold-out maps appear to have a couple of mis-folds, but also couple of small tears along crease lines. Pages next to fold-out maps have faint crease lines. A few margin marks. Original box is almost very good - lid has tear to one corner; also scuffing and some marks.

Browning to page edges and margins; some foxing and grubby marks.

Spine is browned with spotting. Wear along cover edges. Front joint is a bit cracked. Small repair to tear to front endpaper. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Some foxing throughout and to outer page edges. Rear endpaper has torn torn off (with loss).

A stunning limited edition celebrating the centenary of a beloved classsic. This is no. 55 of 1000 copies. Minor bump to lower front edge of vellum spine (hard to photograph). Couple of minor 'dints' to top edge of text block, again, hard to photograph. Contents beautiful. Solander box is also fine. Contained in original Folio Society shipping box.

Dustwrapper is complete, some very slight markings and a small brown mark which is only visible on verso (and has transferred to the front cover as described). Last title on rear flap is Wild Animals.
