Spine very slightly bumped. Inscription in ink to verso of front free-endpaper. Newspaper clipping (Ransome relevant) to half title-page. Top edge of textblock is slightly foxed. Dustwrapper is edge rubbed and very slightly browned to spine.

Dustwrapper is ever so slightly browned to spine with chips at base.

Top page corners haven't been cut very well during printing/binding process causing some slight ragged edges, one page has small piece missing from top margin due to this error (text unaffected). Wrapper is price-cut and edge rubbed with evidence of removal of small label to front panel, slightly grubby rear panel and very slightly browned spine.
